Ingredients
Butter – 425 g
Rawa (Semolina) – 500 g
Sugar – 750 g
Water – 1.75 l
Pineapple (small size) – 1 No
Process
- Peel and remove the thorns from the pineapple and cut it into small pieces (20 mm cubes).
- Make a hot sugar solution by boiling sugar and water together.
- Put the butter in a heavy bottom pan and start heating on a slow flame. Add rawa when the butter melts. Continue roasting on a slow flame, till the rawa becomes golden brown.
- Add the hot sugar solution and increase the flame. Add cut pineapple and continue to stir the mixture till it comes to the consistency of Halwa.
- The Pineapple Halwa is ready for Krishna’s lunch.
