Ingredients

Carrot (red juicy ones) – 350 g
Dry powder
Urad dal – ½ cup
Red chlli (dry) – 2 Nos (medium size)
Hing –½ tsp
White til – 1½ tsp
Oil to grease – 1 tsp
Wet Grind
Curry leaves – ½ cup
Green Chili – 1 piece
Gud – 10 g
Imli – 10 g
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
Ginger (whole) –½” long
Salt – 2 tsp
Yield – 1¼ cup
Serving per head – 65 ml

Process

• Wash and grate all the carrots.
• Wash the curry leaves and green chili.
Preparing dry powder.
• Mix the ingredients under ‘dry powder’ list and roast.
• Grind to coarse powder.
• Mix all the ingredients under the ‘wet grind’ list along with the grated carrots.

• Wet grind them using a blender or pulverizer.
• Use little or no water to grind.
• Mix the dry powder with the wet ground masala.
• Serve with idli, dosa or utappa.
